Willy Brook Trestle
On the climb up to Crawford Notch in New Hampshire, the builders of the Maine Central had to span several clefts in the valley wall caused by streams. Among the resulting bridges is the Willy Brook trestle, which is not too far from the top of the climb.
Now operated by the Conway Scenic Railroad, the "Notch Train" offers a great view of the scenic area, particularly in the Fall. On this day, an additional attraction is the vintage B&M F unit on the head end.
