There's no denying the efficiency of the Mt. Washington Cog's self-engineered, computer-controlled and home-built biodiesel's, which burn just 18 gallons of fuel on a round trip versus the 1 ton of coal consumed by the steam lokies they have largely replaced. But they sure are homely.
