After it has languished in the passing siding for an extended period while a series of Amtrak regional and long-distance passenger trains made their stops at the Emerville, CA depot, the Union Pacific dispatcher has found a window large enough to allow access to the high iron to this eastbound stack train. The head end is just entering the main line in the distance. The train is handling 40' international containers indicating that it is carrying import cargo from the Port of Oakland, probably bound for the Midwest.
