In the waning days of the GG1's fabled career, Amtrak agreed to allow one of the big motors to be repainted into the original PRR paint scheme. Here is 4935, resplendent in her gleaming "back to the future" attire, heading north through South Elizabeth NJ with a Northeast Corridor train. The first car behind the "G" is a power generator to run the lights and HVAC of the all-electric Amfleet cars, as the 1930's-built 4935 lacked the necessary electrical connections. In the background, a set of "Jersey Arrow" MU cars prepares to make the stop at South Elizabeth. It will follow the 4935 through the Hudson Tubes into Penn Station in Manhattan.
