Back when I was in college in Boston, one of my fraternity mates was a private pilot and one day he invited me along for a spin. He asked if I had anywhere in particular that I would like to overfly and I replied "Bellows Falls, Vermont."
Here is the resulting photo of the Riverside campus of Steamtown USA, built by Nelson Blount along the banks of the Connecticut River just north of Bellows Falls. Numerous steamers can be seen lined around the turntable.
In subsequent years the collection was moved to Scranton, PA where it eventually formed the nucleus of what is now Steamtown National Park.
