The View from the Cab
We're in the cab of a Grand Canyon Railway F40 in the hole at Willaha, AZ as the northbound regularly scheduled train cruises by headed for the Grand Canyon. As a special treat, the train is hauled by two veteran Alco FPA-4 locos. These units will soon be rendered redundant by the delivery of more modern power such as the F40 on which we are standing, so there may not be many more opportunities to see these in operation on the GCR.
